Beyond the Choice is an outreach for all who have experienced an abortion and now regret that choice. You are not alone. The feelings and emotions you have right now are real. No matter how significant or minute the changes that have taken place since your experience, they are all normal and we can help you understand them and work through them in a healthy, safe, environment free of judgment and condemnation. We are a safe place of grace to “talk about” your experience and work through the normal stages of grief. This outreach extends open invitations to walk a healing path and to eventually experience "light and life" beyond the choice.

We are currently offering individual appointments to just “talk about it”.

We are also offering 2 study groups.

Wednesday’s 10-noon, beginning 25 January

Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of  “Celebrate Recovery” is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 steps and 8 Recovery Principles.  This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our lives’ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually.  We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.  As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving, Higher Power - Jesus Christ.

We have a Men's and Women's recovery group meeting at 6:00 p.m. every Sunday evening.  For more information contact the church office at 315-782-3040.

We also offer Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University.For those seeking freedom from financial debt and worry. The cost for the class kit is $100. Scholarships are available, but space is limited. This class will teach you how money really works, how to get out of debt, be prepared for emergencies, invest and so much more. Debt and finances can be overwhelming and seem impossible to address.  Our instructors care deeply about you, understand the stresses of financial trouble, and are ready to help.

Come and ZUMBA™ in an upbeat and uplifting environment with an instructor that really cares about you and your health - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  
A "by donation only" class is offered Mondays at 4pm - 5:15pm at the church.  Donations are appreciated to help our instructor cover her expenses for licensing, music, and insurance.

At times we all need help overcoming life's hurts, habits, or hang ups.  Direction and guidance is provided from a Christian counseling perspective by experienced members of our pastoral staff. This spiritual direction for life's real problems is offered free of charge. If we are unable to assist you, we will work with you to find a place where you can find help.
